24th July 2018

We first came to Ashford Hub on 29th May 2018 for initial assessment. We saw Kate, Shelley and Matron Louise. Everyone was very concerned for our welfare, nothing was hurried, we were listened to and encouraged to ask questions. We were given great advice and tips to make daily living easier. Further appointments were put in place with Bhavika, Psychologist, to assist with my condition and are proving useful. We left knowing that we were not alone and that there was somewhere we could turn to and contact if we had any worries or questions. We have another check-up today. This is a marvellous service of huge benefit to us. Thank you so much.

As the daughter of the above patient I felt very reassured that there is someone other than the GP who I can contact for assistance and advice or if have a concern regarding my father. We were given information that could help and advised that if in doubt we could contact the hub for advice and that if I was concerned they would get a nurse out to visit meaning that I would not need to negotiate the appointment system at the GPs with the wait and necessity for me to attend when I work full time

Everything was not just good but excellent. Doctor Bunn and Matron Louise were both very attentive and each time to explain everything to me (i.e minute detail). I am 91 years and deaf (not hard of hearing) Both doctor and matron took time to write everything down for me. I was very well looked after and left feeling better after my visit.
